Hello, everyone.
I have been using ClamXAV for my Mac antivirus protection. Since
ClamXAV has recently gone to a subscription-based pay plan and since
the product is not gaining the best reviews from the tech sites I
read, I wonder what list users recommend. I am looking for reliable

Hi Craig, I like Sophos Home the free version. It is very VO
accessible and gets good reviews, at least the one I saw on pc

Hope this helps! Jeff

I prefer to go commando. None of that anti-virus stuff cluttering up my system

Like you, Tim, I don’t bother with any antivirus stuff. I haven’t had any
problems in the twenty or more years I’ve been a Mac user.
If receiving files from a PC and then sending them on to another PC, I scan
them with ClamXAV so as not to transmit any viruses to someone else.

Hi Anne,
Yeah, the vast majority of malware targets the Windows environment, and the

When I last looked for one, the entire list of Mac malware fit on a fairly

in fixing security vulnerabilities exploited by malware. So I think the chances

Hi,
The Later Agent is the agent that handles the things that you say that you'll
deal with "later". These are things like Software Updates that you decide to
install later instead of right away. The Later Agent keeps track of that so
that it can remind you later. Sorry if the word "later" w
I don't either. You need to contact Malware Bytes for help in

Hmmm, and you do sign off with that. :) Makes sense and I will pay
attention to this next time I hear it. I did get a notification for an
update recently but think I closed it.

Hi,
I use contracted braille. I believe dot 4 acts as an indicator for the at sign
or period so to get an at sign I type dot 4 then dot 4 again and for the period
I type dot 4 then dots 4-6.
Hope that helps.
