So, I just put windows on my Mac.
I got a little nurvis, because, I could not get it rebooted back in to the mac.
When I shut down the Mac, I then restarted it, holding down the option/windows
key, I even held down the alt key, but the boot screen never came up.

yes, I am afraid we have different displays that mine is just a couple of
months old. To upgrade the firware there is a exe file to run on Windows. I was
able to run it in a VM. the .exe can install Windows drivers, but it also ahas
an eption to check and upgrade the firmware.
