Okay. What exactly do I want it set to? I saw that it was set to Western ISO
Latin 1. I assume that this is not correct. So, what do I change it to?
UTF8?

In fusion under the virtual machine menu,
Can you find an option to install the virtual machine tools?
If so and you haven’t done it, install them.
The vm will need to have these tools installed to get full use out of it.

That is what I have encoding set to. Well ok, clean out your history
and cache. Also perhaps try using https instead of www. The www came up
fine in Windows but in Safari I just typed zoom.us which came up with
the https URL.

Hi Simon,
Thanks for the tip. It looks like VMWare Tools is already installed, because
when I go to that option in the menu, voiceOver says it’s Dimmed.
Thanks,
Pete

Hi everybody,
I guess my subject sort of explains the situation. I accidentally sent a file
on my Desktop to Trash, and I want to get that file back!
Unless I overlooked something, I was unable to find a Trash folder on my Mac.
If someone could tell me how to find a list of files that are in
Hi,
Press VO-d to go to the Dock, either type t r, or VO-right all the way to the
far right of the Dock where the Trash can is located. VO-space on this item.
The Trash will open and display the items within the Trash. To reclaim an item

Tim,
That was exactly what the doctor ordered. Thank you very much!
I rarely send files to the trash and up till now, had never needed to retrieve
anything from there. Thanks so very much!

One can use the left arrow key alone to wrap around from the Finder
item on the dock to Trash, then arrow up to Open it. No Put Back
shortcut I know of but if one acts quickly, Cmd Z may save the day.

Believe me, I did not react quickly in the least, only discovering my mistake
about a half an hour after the accidental file removal.
Take care and thanks for the additional input,

Hi ET,
Wrapping around only works if you've set that in the VO Utility. By default,
VO is not set to wrap around, although I much prefer wrap around mode as
opposed to hitting the wall.

It is off. Sometimes I like it on but in some instances I like to
hot the bottom of some menus quickly especially if there are many items.

Hi,
You can still use the hop to the bottom/end of a menu even with wrapping on.
VO knows where the bottom/end is and if you were to use the VO-fn-right arrow
combination, it will jump to the end of the items.

Hi all,
I just stumbled on this, so no nothing more than what you see here. Just
thought it might be of interest to braille users.

Hi Donna.
I didn't see anything else below your message. Was there supposed too be a

Thanks.
