Hi!
There is one thing i haven’t understood really.
There is this talk about remapping the insert key?
Why is this needed?
Do i have to do this when using a full sized keyboard?

I used to be able to do this precisely as you describe. Now for some reason, I

Hello list,
Has anyone used OpenOffice for Mac?
If so, how well does it work with VO and is it accessible?

On af full-sized keyboard, this is not needed. But as the mac doesn’t have an
insert key, you will have to reMap it. For example I use the ` key as mine, but
you can choose to use different keys. To do this, go in to the vmware
preferences, then Keyboard & Mouse button, then select Keymappings.
I did use it about 5 years ago now. Back then it was accessible more or less

For windows, I took my key I had for windows 7 and downloaded a new ISO file

My macbook is the 11 inch, with 16 meg of ram and the fastest processor I could

Hello group,
I have been exploring various options on streaming music to our 4th Gen Apple

my MBA need to be open & awake as well?

Oh cool! Do you by chance have a more direct link to that tutorial, or is

To the best of my understanding, while the movie is playing, I think you can
flick left with one finger to rewind, or flick right with one finger to fast

OpenOffice is absolutely disgusting with Voiceover. Don't even attempt!
What exactly are you wanting to do? Depending on your goal, you probably
can get it done with either Microsoft Word for the mac, or with Pages.

Hi!
Well, its still the braille embossing problem on the mac that seems not to be
fixed.
I am or was a Duxbury user on Windows 7 but they told us that their will be a
mac version soon but that was back in 2012.
Nothing has happend yet and i don’t believe nothing will happen for a very long
time.
1Password has a safari extension. :)

Yes, I have it on my computer. I started reading the user guide yesterday and
am now going to the various websites and logging in and saving the passwords in

Yeah, the braille embossing is still a sticking point.
I own an index basic 4 D. fortunately, I don’t use it as much as I thought I
would, but it cost too much to get rid of.
I haven’t played around with embossing on the mac yet, other then one time when
we were checking out braille blaster.

Actually sudo is not useful here. sudo allows you to kill any process not just
your processes. But Mail and VOiceOVer are being run by the user who logged in.
So to force Mail to quit:
killall Mail
to force VoiceOver to quit
killall VoiceOver

You need either an insert key or a caps lock key to act as the modifier key for

No, jaws works as it should with the zero key on the number pad as the insert

I don't know about the braille embossing of a virtual box vm, but I am
concerned that the latest version of virtual box wont let me select USB media

At least in this version voiceover doesn't automatically turn off when virtual

Where does OnePassword store its data? Can you store it locally or make it

iCloud Keychain is more annoying for being iCloud-specific.
