Hi all,
I think someone said something a while back about making audio guides for
Amadeus Pro? If so, did I miss them, or are they not up yet? If they are, where
cold I find them? Thanks in advance. I'm trying to figure out if it's worth the
money, or if Audacity will do just as well.

Yes, you're absolutely right. Sorry about that - I hit an extra dot and didn't

Hello there,
I am having finding the library directory in the home folder. Is it a hidden

Hi,
Yes, it is normally a hidden file. You could do a number of things to access
it of which I’ll mention two. First, you could go to the Finder, then up to
the menubar, over to the Go menu, and with VO keys down, navigate down to the
Library folder. Second, you could go to the Finder, press
Hi all,
I know one can access the shared options via tools but I’m wondering if there
is a quicker way of getting to it, perhaps with a keystroke? I do’t mind going
to tools and getting to it that way, but ideally, I would prefer having less
steps especially if sharing multiple items.
Thanks

Hello Christina,
Sorry for the delay in replying to your question.
I’ve just tried this on the Huffington Post site and all you have to do is
bring the mouse with VO-Cmd-F5 and the new items become accessible with VO.
I’ve tried this in both DOM and Groups modes and it works in both cases.

Hi,
Probably the easiest way to do this would be with the QuickLook function. Open
the folder from within the Finder, press cmd-a to select all the items within
that folder then just press the spacebar once. The music will play and you can
arrow through the songs if you wish to skip anything.

Spacebar on any file invokes the OSX quick look, which isn't really an
app. It's meant to quickly preview files without waiting for the usual
app launch process.

The open-source Sox package can convert audio files to ogg. If you need
to convert a whole pile of them then you can just make a loop in a shell
script. Googling around I found this:
for i in *.wav; do sox "$i" "`echo $i|sed 's/wav$/ogg/'`";done
In the above example the source files are assum
Seems like you should be able to open the iso to mount it on your
desktop and then use Handbrake to convert the video files to whatever
you need.

If you are asking how to open a folder for playing inVLCit is very simple.
1. Press command a to select all the music in the folder.
2. Press command down arrow to open selection.
3. VLC will now interpret the folder as a temporary playlist. Use normal
navigation in VLC to play the contents of th
The player that opens will be the one that is the default set for that file

Does this automatically play the whole folder?
What I suspect is that if you have subfolders all of these will just try to
open in finder and either nothing will open in vlc or only files contained in
the top level of the folder system will be included. But for a simple folder

do you activate quick look first? otherwise you’d have to do it from within the
folder you want to play, I think. 1 of my folders has sub folders. the other
one doesn’t. 1 has a variety of file extensions which is why I need to use VLC.

There is no hosts.txt file in the zip. Just hosts with no extension.
Rename it with the txt extension to edit it then remove the extension
when done.
