Hi
I finally got online at the redemption page. Got a new code. This time there
was no redeem button. I did read that it did start the download automatically.
How can I tell if it is downloading without fear of losing the redeem page I am
on? How is redemption possible? Any suggestions for this
You can open your Applications folder and locate the App Store download. But
to be honest, if the page in the store says you're downloading, then you're
downloading; check it on the Purchases tab.

Hi Dean
You said that you were on the phone with Accessibility and they couldn't help
you with the user guide for the iPhone. There is a problem with the web page;
maybe it's being updated or something. I couldn't get it to work either.
However, because I help sponsor a VoiceOver group here in
Ok, that unfortunately could be a problem, sense that's what I always do.

I've just been on the phone to my bank to let them know that I can't find the
"download statement" link which I normally used to use. They were very
courteous and suggested a few tweaks in Safari like resetting it etc. While

Anyone know anything about CyberDuck, Transmit, ExpanDrive or Forklift? Of
these, Forklift appears to push all the buttons (and solve all the problems,
and support all the providers).

Hi, do you ever use the browser Chrome?
A while back now, I was having a similar issue with my bank's website in
Safari. Using the bank's website via Chrome fixed the issue.

Hi guys
Does anybody know how one can transfer a BARD audio file from your Mac to your
iPhone? I did it before with braille files using Drop Box, but it didn't work
with the audio file. Can you do it with audio files, and if so, how?

Leave the file zipped when you put it in the Drop box folder. Then, launch
drop box on your iPhone. Then, open the file from inside the Drop box app.
Then, swipe to the right till you get to the open with menu. From that menu,
select the BARd option.

Hi:
I downloaded ciber duck. So far, everything is doable although clunky. The
main thing I can't figure out is looking inside of folders on the remote site.
So, I can see the name of the folder but not the files one layer below.
Any suggestions?

Thanks Ray. It worked. I was not being patient enough because first of all,
this file took forever to load into dropbox. Second, I was not flicking to the
right like you told me too. Once I did that, it worked fine.

Easy peasy. You need only choose podcasts from the pop up menu, then, VO right
to the podcasts table. From there, choose what you want to unsubscribe from
and press the delete button. A confirmatory dialog will ask you if you are
sure you want to do this. Just press okay and it's done.

Turn VO off, then use the left arrow a couple times. That normally fixes it for
me.

Hello all,
I need some opinions from the list on the best way and/or media format in which
to save important email.
On-the-fly, I have flagged what I wanted to save.
Some of it has to do with various instructions that I've been given on this
list or through other means to accomplish various thing
Easiest way for me is the standard save dialog in which I convert the e-mails

If I were to save an email in documents, what will be it's file format?
What is the difference and saving it in documents versus putting it in
TextEdit? I hope you're not stupid questions. I never even thought of saving it
in documents. It would be much easier.

Pam, you are confusing yourself over nothing. When I talked about saving in
Documents, I referred to your Documents folder, not the file format. The file
format can either be .rtf or the original mail format. The place I use is my
Documents folder.
