Hi all, I was just simply wondering, regarding to whatever english voice you
use with Voiceover are there at all times, where say your reading a piece of
text from Safari and you miss hear the odd word hear and there.
I'm sorry if that isn't descriptive or thought out more but to just to explai
Hi,
I know exactly what you mean. None of the voices are clear and reliable on
pronunciation. For this, and other reasons, I'm currently trying Moira, the
Irish voice, but if you need a male for hearing reasons, she is not an option.
Have you tried Lee, Tom etc? Go to vo utility, speech, voices

bits of words while on safari, that's why i use Karen voice ins
I find these quirks in Voiceover amusing. On my iPhone 5, VO will
mangle certain last names in Contacts unless there happened to be other
text following the last name.

I have had great success installing Windows 7 without sighted assistance in
a virtual machine, but Win 8 stops at some point and I cannot get speech.
Does anyone know where the holdup is, and if there is some way around this?

Hi.
Most of the time i use
the voices from infovox. I use heather and the danish voices. They are not
really expensive anymore, you can buy them for a reasonable price. You will not
have to pay upgrades all the time, mine is very old, and they have been
upgraded a lot of times.

Hi.
This is an interesting thread. Now I ask a silly question. I have an external

device, but rather inaccessible, so I will not recommend it.
I have tried with some cheap devices, but I found the internal soundcard in t
I was on the blind movie buff list back in 2008 and would like to get

However the list seems to be gone now. Does anyone know what happened
to it and whether there is a similar list?
I apologize if this is too far off topic for
I may be incorrect, but did not that list circulate stolen content?

Yes. Your new account will have separate name and password, and if it's just
used for email, that email address is its username.
Both Mac and iOS impose limits on secondary accounts, but email is not one of
them.

Try pressing return. I think it's asking for a product key or the
edition of Windows to install.

In the last two days I have had to do a clean install of my Mac again even
though I did it last week.
What happened was that I shut my Mac down at the beginning of this week as I
went away and didn't want anyone to get hold of the information in case there
