I would like to know if there are any accessible poker games for the
mac or iOs. I would be happy to play online with my friends but if
there is no accessible poker that would allow me to do that, I
wouldn't mind playing with the computer. I read about theta poker pro.

Alex, I think command-y opens the attachment in QuickLook, which isn't as good
as reading PDFs as Preview, so it's often worth VO-spacing on PDF attachments
anyway. But the command-y is a good tip/reminder. Does that one still work in
Mavericks?

Theta Poker Pro works well in terms of accessibility and is pretty close to
free (ie. very cheap). Unfortunately it doesn't seem to support multi player.
The computer intelligence is good, but for some reason I'm just not as
interested in playing if it's not against real people.

It does, so long as there is only one attachment. I've never had much luck with
Preview, but you can open a file from Quicklook if you want to. That way you
get an idea of what it has, and can open it to do more with it if necessary. I
just wish cmd-y would work on multiple attachments by poppin

That is exactly what I had in mind. I may contact Apple and see if
this might change in future. The address I am using is not gmail but my
provider's so its not a big issue. Just makes little sense.

Currently, there is no way to merge Apple IDs. I believe that you can, though,
re-assign a new eMail address to your Apple ID so that you don't lose purchased
items. I could be off-base, but I don't expect that there will be any ability
to merge Apple IDs.

I was under the impression that Calibre will convert to HTML from epub. I think
I remember doing this once. The Calibre command-line tool is quite useful. The
only bad aspect of it is that you have to get sighted help to install the
command-line tools in the gUI interface.

I just found a trick that helps make reading emails go way faster. When you are
inside the message of an email if you flick up with two fingers it starts
reading from the beginning of the current message.
I figured since I didn't know this someone else probably doesn't as well.
