Hi,
The Fusion drive is physically two drives but you only see it as one. Similar
to a RAID setup but actually different. The Fusion drive does make your system
considerably quicker and, if you have the cash, I totally recommend it. I'm
not really sure how BootCamp handles the Fusion drives
Yes, it does exist. Check the software section here

question number one is illegal, and number two from what I remember, got taken

What are the other key commands for using youtube?
I know the "j" key is rewind, the "k" key is pause play, & the "l" key is fast

Are there more key commands for youtube such as "play next video" or play
previous video" or so forth?
TIA

Hi all.
I got a call from a man requesting some training. However he had a question
that stumped me and I told him I'd do some research.
This guy wants to know if there's a way of putting blank spaces all the way to
the end of a right margin. He gave an example of outlines with a sentence

Unfortunately, the bootcamp uses the hard drive only. This means bootcamp works
well on iMac, but do not use the ssd only the hard drive part of the fusion
drive. So bootcamp is not as fast as it would be on a single sad drive.
Take care

Hi,
What it sounds like you're looking for are "leaders". In things like a Table
of Contents, tabs are set in a manner whereby the Chapter or Section title is
entered, then leader dots are placed from the end the text over to the page
number. These dots are automatically placed using somethin
Hello Tim and all,
It's almost my bedtime and I've been teaching VoiceOver all day so I'm
exhausted. Anyway, here's the workaround for tab stops.
To insert a tab stop
* Jump to the Formatter.
* Select layout and interact with the scroll area.
* Go down to Tab stops and expand it with VO-Space.
hi,
Thanks Anne for this. So, adding to Anne's instructions, follow her same
instructions to set the leader type:
* With mouse-keys off.
* Navigate to the item labeled "None" to the right of the Alignment style,
bring your mouse to that location with VO-cmd-f5.
* Turn on mouse-keys.
* Go right
Hi all,
When spell checking a document, I tell spell check to ignore certain words, for
example when I write: "hahaha" but as I'm spell checking, it brings that back
to be corrected and some other words, even after I've told it to ignore them.
sometimes I'll press the ignore, or learn buttons an

For me, the latest security update which required a restart broke

the sound tab in VoiceOver utility from system default to instant on sound

Hi all,
I am running OS10.9.3 on a partition of my hard drive, so I have my normal
10.9.2 available as well. I have the essentials set up in 10.9.3, though, so I
can stay booted into here for a while. I'm wondering if there are any bugs
anyone wants me to test. Of course, I can't tell you all wh
Maybe I'm just not sure how to use it, but I don't use Maps very much on the

How many blind people does it take to make great video description?
Some would say, zero. At Audio Eyes, we think differently. After all, we are
the only video description company that employs blind engineers, voiceover
artists and script quality professionals in the video description creation

Hi.
when I bought my mac mini a couple of years ago, I bought an external dvd
drive. It has always worked fine on the mini although I haven't tried it since
updating to mavericks. I recently bought a macbook pro and when I plug the
drive in, I get a notification saying that this super drive is
Hi,
If it is a MacBook Pro from before the Retina Display models, then it requires
you entering a command in Terminal in order to make it work. The older MacBook
Pros with the built-in DVD player didn't normally accept the USB Super Drive as
they expected you to use the internal one. Some fol
Really? That I did not know. I will keep that in mind when I upgrade my Macbook
Pro to SSd and move my HDD to the DVD drive bay.

I'm in the process of developing an AppleScript to change the name of tables in
Pages. It's not as straight forward as for Numbers for a couple of reasons.
However, I've pretty much nailed it down but for one thing.
For some reason, tables in Pages seem to be somehow locked or invisible to
