Correct, though I'm surprised you can do much of anything in text with Quicknav enabled. I tend to have it off 95% of the time, and only use it to get around webpages or large windows like iTunes. Oh, I don't know if anyone mentioned these, but cmd-semicolon will move you to the next misspelled

If it is a scanned document, it might have to have an OcR process done on it. I haven't tried the print to pdf method, but I know there are online services to do this. Robobraille is known for Braille transcription, but it also converts image files and image pdf to readable pdf and other formats
