If that's so, and you were a fan of excel, then maybe I'll give it a try.
Is there a good help system for numbers where I can read up on it and get

I guess I like excel because I've used it for years with JAWS which is highly

Hi,
Double-tap on the Airplane Mode button to toggle it on or off. The double-tap
works for most items, if it is a toggle, it will change its state, if it
redirects you, then the new screen will activate.

Hi all,
Someone on Twitter was asking me about getting a Mac for college. One concern
was word-processing, and whether Pages and Voiceover is good enough for papers,
resumes, that sort of thing. I don't use Pages much, so I can't answer
accurately, but I know people on here do. So, how is Pages

Hi Ray,
Thanks for that info.
When i went there it reminded myself that I have "Audio Hijack Pro" on my Pro
tools box.
I contacted them about moving it to my mac mini and they said just download
Audio Hijack Pro and put in the serial #.
So I did that and bang!

Hi,
If you google google chrome, you will get straight to it, simply download it,
open the DMG, copy the app to your apps folder and open that. No, you use
VoiceOver, and in the main, it's just like using Safari. You can check the
keystrokes for commands through the menus, but most things, esp
Chrome and Safari are actually built on the same base render engine so
they are very similar in many respects. Main difference is Chrome is
available on most any platform while Safari is just on Apple devices.

That "fair job" is what confuses me. I'd love to know just what Word/Jaws will
do that Pages/VO will not, and why people love one over the other. I had to
teach someone Word a few months ago, and I had to learn it myself at the same

I've been holding off replying to this question as I can't compare Pages to MS

You can create a template with all the styles you need along with their

A bit of an odd question, but are there any apps out there that allow you to
enter notes in some way and export perhaps an image of the music score?
I blog about music, and would like to show excerpts of music I'm working on so

No, sorry, what I want is to enter notation in some accessible ay, and export

Ok, will I constantly need to keep that window in the forground, or can I do
other stuff with the computer while that's recording? Aside from that, I can't
figure out if I managed to get it up and running or not; still playing around

hi,
That would be great. I'm not in a hurry, because the app itself is not on sale.
Another question I have if you can check out in the 5 or 5.1 version, is if you
can print the checks through a printer or not. I have a very simple finance
program for my PC that I can do this function.
Thanks
You don't have to keep QuickTime in the foregound. Actually, it would be
hard to do a screen recording of anything useful if you did have to keep
it in the foreground.
