Try using the window chooser menu with VO-F2 twice and you will find access
to the widget bar menu and any open widgets currently running. Use
Control-option-command-escape to close any open widgets.

free.
It will be a disk image which you can install from there. If you haven't done

you assign your script to a commander, as I assume you are doing, you can
choose any location on the Mac. For instance, I've put scripts in Dropbox

Garageband will *not* be free. Anyway, it's moot when considering the original
question. You will find a button along the bottom that has a magnifying glass,
and voiceover should call 'search". It also should be fine on an iPhone 4s. as
that model runs iOS 7 fine.
