Hello Chris. Sorry for replying late but I am a little behind on my mail
lately.
Thanks for your response.
Do you know if this app is accessible with voice over?
I will go now to check it out.
Thanks.

Hi Teresa,
I get all that, and I think it's cool. What I think Jessica and I are
struggling with is the ability to perform the push and pull gestures. I wish
they would give us more time in the training zone to figure that out. I played

Hi all,
Does anyone know if there are any accessible bible apps for the Mac that have
offline versions of the entire bible? I'd like to use my computer in church and
follow along with everyone else. I've just downloaded Bible Plus from the app
store, but the scroll area containing the contents
Hi Gavin,
The best Bible option we have currently is a Bible ministry that offers
different Bible versions as electronic text. You can contact them at

Tom is a pastor and his visually impaired as well. He will send you a DVD with
all text files that you can load on

This one seems to be somewhat accessible:

Main issue I had is apparently when it first launches you land on the
book and chapter heading but there is some introductory overlay that
interferes until you double tap the book/chapter head
I use a app called Eloquent. I think its on the App Store.

I got my dVD years ago, and apparently copied it to my computer and managed to
hang onto it through all the computer migrations. I'd forgotten how much stuff
is in it. It's very useful and interesting.

It's a command you use in the terminal and comes with your mac. Terminal
gives you access to the text-based interface to the unix system which
OSX is built on. You can pretty much do anything in the terminal that
you can through the GUI and somethings that are hard or impossible

Hi Jonathan.
Select your heading, and press vo+shift+m, find add to toc, and select the
level in that menu.
You can also choose paragraph style in the menu, and choose your heading level
there.
Cheers Annie.

does this script say time in 24 hour format or 12 hour? I would like to have

Thanks for any advice.

Hi Annie, sadly, using the context menu produced the same results, IE the
heading levels just don't appear. They're not greyed out, they just aren't
there at all.
What I've done though is taken the text I wrote in text edit, copied it to the
clipboard, and pasted it all into a new document in N
Currently it uses 12-hour format, but I'm sure you could get 24-hour if you
wanted. I'd like the change as well, but don't use the script very often so
never looked into it. The key is the original time script, which manages this.
As I think about it, I seem to think the current date's hours is

I have a couple more questions. when you're pulling to bring the artifacts
close to you, do you have to slide all the way to the bottom of the screen?
And, how did you deal with the collective dimension? I have absolutely no
desire to link this game to twitter or Facebook.
Interact with the message header area. VoiceOver will identify what it
calls, Read Button. If you VO space on that, the sender will be added to your
VIP list.

I'd like to ask a question as well. How do you collect cells? Artifacts make

Ok, what exactly is the dragging jesture? Sorry to sound ignorant here, but
I've never heard of that, and think I may have done it, (at least I hold my
finger down on the beam button, and slide it down or up the screen,) and
nothing happens, so I'm not sure if that constitutes as a "dragging je
For what it's worth, I can't do it either. It's worth mentioning that the
left/right does not drag the beam as such; instead, moving further and further
left or right makes you move faster and faster in that direction, and only by
returning to the center do you stop spinning. So, if you move to
Hi Jessica,
The dragging gesture is what you do when you're trying to move an app. You
basically move your finger slowly around the screen without lifting it up. My
theory is that the Pull gesture is like that, you effectively drag the object
toward you. that said, I haven't gotten it to wor
Interesting, I've never heard of that. If I've needed to move an app, I always
did a double-tap and hold on the item until it said "moving facebook," for
example, then if I wanted to delete it, I just double-tapped it and confirmed
that I wanted to delete the app.

Right. But if you wanted to move Facebook to the next screen, or to a
different place on the same screen, you'd do that double-tap and hold, then
you'd very slowly drag it to the place you want it to be.
Cheers,

Hi, Alex and Donna,
Ok, the location of the beam varies a little. When you are using it, the sound
raises in pitch. Pull the artifact toward you, and hold steady once it levels
off at its highest pitch, which won't be much higher than its beginning pitch.
There will be a sort of "tada" tone whe
One more thing to note: if VO is on, you have to tap and hold the beam, and
then drag the artifact toward you. It works the same for the nethalim. If you
play with VO off, then you can merely tap on it. In either case, you'll hear an
activation tone.
