Hi Andrew I to get the numbers busy when typing in my large numbers file, as I mentioned earlier. However, I just ignore it. If I do that, I found it puts the data in there anyway. My fan comes on also and gets warm. I have a MacBook Pro. However, I have found that it doesn't seem to Hirte any.

I don't seem to get mail busy messages on my MacBook Air either. But I do on my iMac, which has four times the RAM. Perhaps it's because my messages are saved on the SSD with the MacBook Air, but I'll try repairing permissions and resetting PRAM on the iMac just in case this does fix it. I have

Scott, The other issue could be that Voiceover simply lost focus with the mouse pointer. This has happened to me when attempting to make formatting changes by accessing the format bar or something like that. What I ended up needing to do was to route the mouse pointer to the VoiceOver curser
