I have fairly limited experience with all of Safari but I have always used the
Commend-arrow keys to go back but I use tabs as much as possible. I believe
Safari under Mountain Lion does more with tabs instead of opening new windows.

In a day view like this, wouldn't the list only be events for that
given day? I was looking for a list of all available appointments
regardless of what day it is. It would just sort them in
chronological order like it does on IOS.

resorting to the standard view in gmail which was fiddly but I think I have
managed to uncheck all the boxes. Removing labels by itself did not help.

the menu bar (VO-M or Control-F2), right arrow to the Safari menu,
then arrow down to a "Reset Safari" menu option. I think one of the
submenu options you can check is to clear or empty the cache when you

might help -- I did not see reference to emptying caches, cookies, or anything
