Hi,
That's interesting. I didn't even know of that split-reading. My SL
has never behaved like that, and I always use HTML. What exactly
causes it?

Hi,
That's just the problem. Even when I route it, it still doesn't route
it properly. Which is weird. It'll announce it right, as if it did
move it but when I click, it clicks in the wrong window.

Hi,
To play with the scratching, you have to maximize the window and
figure where the turntables are, just make sure that you are at a 5th
of each horizontal limit, then use the pad to scratch. The trackpad
features are listed in the manual or on the website, and you can refer

Hi listers,
I have a question about Vmware fusion. Long story short, I want to
play a windows game online with my friends. However, it requires one
of our machines to be the server. I usually use my machine to do this,
and I just put fusion in bridge mode. Bridge mode means that two

I don't know what causes it - I haven't got enough computer knowledge

Hello,
I'm not having difficulty with that, just concerned for non-trackpad
users without an iPhone as a substitute.

Have you tried any of the other network modes such as NAT or Host-only?

Hi,
NAT means that it shares the connection with the Mac, and Host Only is
so that it apparently creates a network between the Windows and Mac
machine. Or, that's how I understand it.

I thought this was diferent in SL than Leopard. I sometimes go into Apple
stores and try things. I'll look at VO Utility next time and try to learn
more about that. I'll eventually be buying new Macs for wife and me. Life

Not sure the camera really does the OCR function. That's probably
software after the photo is taken. That said, KNFB runs in the Nokia N82

probably better. If you

Pertaining to the barcode feature. If no one has mentioned this, I

Really? How long did she have the card? If there is an expiration date/
period, it would be nice to know this info.
And I wonder if that applies to a card which has not been used or if
it makes any difference if some of the card's available amount has

I have read that Mac OS X 10.6.2 has fixes for among other things Voice
Over. Perhaps a fix will come when it comes out.
Take care

I'm assuming mine expires, I thought that they were only good for a

The following comes directly from Apple: Apple does not place an expiration
date on Apple Gift Cards. However, there may be rules defined by the laws of
your state that require Apple to terminate your right to use your Apple Gift
Card if you have not used it within a specified number of years. Unde
Actually now that I think of it, once you activate the card, I don't
know if the amount of money ever "goes away". Maybe it depends upon
whether or not you activate the card within a period of time.

Folks,

as an imap account and I tried establishing filters and labels to
accomplish the same thing Apple Mail's rules perform. I created a

It has some unlabeled buttons but you can label them yourself using
VO/. I use both Bento for the Mac and for the I Phone and they are
great.

I have a gift card on my I Tunes account and it works great. You will
have to get someone to read you the gift card number so you can enter
it, but other than that it works fine.

hi. try setting up gmail to filter by the reply to field instead. to
do this: type "replyto:macvisionaries@googlegroups.com in the filter
on specific words text box. Then check the box apply to label and
select your macvisionaries label.
hope that helps.

Hi all, I have noticed that Apple has released Snow Leopard Server. Can
anyone comment on how accessible it may or may not be, particularly the
wizards to define certain server roles. Also can SL server be used as a

Thank you

Reply-to: then the list address. So, is the dash necessary or is that

Good evening all,
i have previously set up my i phone with a PC. i am looking to

syncing for the first time it will not eliminate all contacts. i

THanks Holly, but still doesn't seem to quite work. GOing to have to
keep working at this and I'm sure I'll get it going. Only if the Mail

But when you go into ITunes hopefully it won't start syncing right

sync and make sure you check them.
Hmmm, strange. I've gotten it to work. Are you checking the box to
skip inbox, and the box to apply labels? If you don't check skip
inbox you will get a copy in your inbox and a copy in the mac
