the Day widget and it is awesome. DO NOT download the Roller
Coaster widget. I accidentally got it last night and it was

Widgets take up negligible drive space... You don't *have* to get rid of it,
just never use it. If you DO want to get rid of it, remember that you will
have saved it along the correct path, so just retrace your steps, find it in
Finder and Trash it. Bye bye poor little widget.

Ok, fair enough.
So, if you download one and find it's not useable/accessable with vo, how do
you get rid of it?
I mean, we never know this stuff until we experiment a bit and try things out
sometimes, within reason..
Thanks for the info,
Caitlyn

Day widget and it is awesome. DO NOT download the Roller Coaster
widget. I accidentally got it last night and it was really hard
to hear voiceover to try and turn it off. Although I would close
the dashboard, the roller coaste
on that will let you get more

You can do a google search for Dashboard Widgets for OS10 and you'll find scads
of them. However, some of them, even some of the ones included with OS10, are
not VO friendly, unfortunately.

Once you open Dashboard, press VO F2 (or VO Function F2, depending on how your
keyboard is set), and use VO down arrow to get to a "all the widgets you want.
The "Widget bar," can be explored after pressing right arrow once like a
submenu to expand it.

Hello list,
Within the dashboard, you can check the weather. It also allows
you to run the calculator, iCal, movies and the world clock.
To open Dashboard, press F12 (or Option (F12). To get to the
menu listing the widgets, press VO and F2 twice quickly.
HTH,
Ezzie

I would like to know too. Whenever I open the Dashboard, I just get the
calculator. I'd like to know how to add and remove widgets.
