Don't know how one loses a recovery partition but since its a hidden one, executing
the "diskutil list" command in terminal will display a list of volumes,
including the recovery partition if it exists.
nless they know what they are doing.
It makes getting to the recovery difficult.

basicly what I did was I high lighted the
disk and went to erase
once it was wiped I added 1 partition and the partition was set to 250 gb
that is the only way I could get it to work.
I am so glad that I got it up and running none the less
it was driving me crazy
Hi,
It's usually difficult to erase that partition, but not impossible. The only
way to regain the Recovery partition is to reinstall the MacOS.

that I made so I can just install that and then upgrade from there
as far as the recovery partition is it possible oto reinstall the
recovery partition?
