Are you using the track pad? If yes, perhaps you need to perform a threE

If you have a laptop, try holding down the FN key. I think F10 mutes speech now.

I've finished my install of SL and am really liking it. But somehow I've
managed to get speech muted, and I have no idea what I did. Can someone
tell me how to turn speech back on? Sorry, but I can't get into VO either,
every time I press Command F8, my iTunes library
