Thanks, that command worked to turn zoom off. I feel your
frustration. It is quite frustrating to feel like I'm typing in mud
or in slow motion. If I type to quickly for the computer than letters
are skipped. It's also frustrating when backspacing to delete
characters that it feels so s

You can toggle zoom with option-command-8.
I don't think that zoom is the problem as I have it off and I'm
experiencing the same problems of sluggishness that you are. It's not
just in mail, but in every situation that I'm editing. It's very
frustrating.

Well, shoot, I thought it was supposed to be cmd+option+8 but that

together in mail, either one will act up a little. If one is acting
up then turn it off and then back on. That is if you're using both
