Well I have resolved the issue. Screwiest thing I ever saw. I was attempting to
download the Mac version using Internet Exploder and it would not let me. It
only told me that there was not a Windows version of the beta available. Once
again another company that thinks it needs to hold y
Maybe, but I usually close my conversation windows. I don't want to keep a
dummy window open just to work around this bug.

Yeah Like I said I let skype know but this drives me absolutely nuts! I tried
to report the bug to skype but i don't think screen shots helped as they looked

refresh. I've made sure dom mode is on and the only way to do this that is

one would think they surely will heed what we say and fix these things prior

I know that if you are in a chat and want to add people, you hit
COmmand-Shift-A, find the person in the list of the new window, then hit enter
once. Then, if you hit enter again without moving anything, it usually brings

The /add method is good but iffy. If you don't know the exact user name of
someone, you could end up having someone who's not even in your contact list
participating in your convo. The thought is scary enough that i don't touch
that function at all.

Actually what a friend of mine did was a manual add that is the /add echo123 or
/kick echo123 and that works but it is tedious. I don't knwo why they broke
things. I did mention them that in the feedback form they have.

If you must know, It's in the Calls preferences. Really, though, there are no
conflicts whatsoever beyond VoiceOver saying "Skype has new window" when it
disappears into the background. It would actually be a very useful feature if
it worked with VoiceOver.

If it is a table then and hitting enter causes the text he sees to go away then
maybe copying that row could be a work around. I recommend leaving skype
feedback with the form in the menus. and leave your email address so they could
respond if they want to.

Well, it doesn't really matter whether it's or not, actually, as it disappears
when Skype is in the forefront anyway. So, unless you don't want it to say
"Skype has new window" feel free to leave it. Just sayin'. You can't use the
window, though, but it'd actually be a nice feature.

As mentioned before, there are 2 methods of doing it. I'll begin by describing
the way that works:
In the chat box type the following, without quotes: "/add username", where
username is changed to the persons skype name whom y

Actually for me at first it didn't work but when I comand tabbed away and back
and possibily when I restarted vo it worked. I don't knwo if there was some
conflict on both our machines or what but yeah. it was very very odd.

Just one of my strange questions again. I downloaded the Skype beta 5 and
noticed a very very strange thing. It no longer seems to be possible to have
conference calls if you use Voiceover. Pressing the button "add people" or

VO M works, for me, as it always did; goes to the menu bar. The only confusing
part for me was figuring out how to access voice mail I receive, and how to

things out and everything else seems pretty accessible.

It works just fine, actually. It's just one of those things that suddenly start
working again for some reason, but until it does, use Control-F2.

I can't figure it out even when I sign into Skype through Safari or through the
View my account feature in Skype. How the HECK do I listen to new voice mails?
