I got it. I found that in Keyboard commander. Once I hooked up my usb keyboard
all went well.

Is there some way that I can create a shortcut to mute speech when I'm using my
Braille Display? I'm not sure if I have a multi touch trackpad or not.
My macbook is a white macbook 2009 model I think.
