Literally right after I hit send on my first message, I got a notification that
the transfer process had started. Apparently it does take longer than I thought

I'm not sure how long. I guess that depends on the connection, but the file
should be saved in your downloads folder on the Mac side.

I’m attempting to share a video that is relatively long, 25 minutes or so, from
my iPhone 5S to my MBP using AirDrop. I finally got everything set so both
machines can see each other via AirDrop.
How long should this take realistically? It seems as if it’s taking forever and
I’m not sure where
