Hello Jim, In TextEdit, there are preset tab stops but they don’t change the actual margin. In Pages, you should create a new paragraph style with the Left and First indents set to the value you want. All this and more is explained in our book on Pages which you can purchase for $35 US here:

Hi all! Is there a way to set temporary margins in Text Edit, for instance if I am typing a paragraph at the left margin then if I want the next few lines to be indented 10 spaces or so is this doable in Text Edit?I thought there was a ruler just like in pages but can't find it and don't know ho
