Apple has a list of supported Braille displays. I've also seen posts on this
list about folks getting Braille Notes to work with USB-to-Serial adapters. You
might check the list archive.

cough...Windows machine for my job. I do have a Focus44, but it's broken and
has no warranty. I'd appreciate any input anyone can give.
