I use Option + Page up or Down for this. Try it out, it works, at least on my
two machines with a german OS in Textedit and Pages.

In TextEdit, try the command Cmd-Shift-w which toggles between Wrap to Page and
Wrap to Window. The Page up and Page down commands should then work. They do
for me.
In Pages, those commands work for me all the time.

Hi guys.
I am sure this has been discussed before but I can't feagure it out right now
and I am getting crazy.
How can I scrole pages up or down in textedit? Using the page down key doesn't
do anything. Even if I stop nteracting with the text area it doesn't work.
