overwriting it, the plus sidn lcan be put after the number in the
file telling Vuescan to Add newly scanned material to the file.

My question about VueScan is this. I did several scans, and I was asked if I
wanted to rewrite the file I had told the program to use. I said yes thinking
it would delete the old material and replace it with the new stuff. Not so. I
just discovered that I had new stuff added to the old
