Hi guys I took Adobe off my computer completely, so now we'blind see what happens when I go to my bank's web site and want to look at payroll the tax returns I filed. I was getting tired of becoming trapped in what might as well be a blank screen. Regards, Gigi On Apr 24, 2013, at 7:30 AM,

Hi, Just FYI the following article from MacWorld confirms what Esther said: http://www.macworld.com/article/2027011/bugs-and-fixes-pdfs-saved-from-the-web-fail-to-open.html Seems you need to delete both adobe plugins. On 24/04/2013, at 12:24 PM, Esther wrote: Hi Gigi, OK, I found instruction

Hi Gigi, OK, I found instructions on the names of the two files to remove. If you installed this system wide, they will be in the system /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ folder. If you installed these only for your account, they will be in the Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ folder under your user acco

Can't you just uninstall Adobe Reader from your user account anyway as you shouldn't need it? Or do other people use your account who like Adobe? I would have also thought you could disable plugins from the Advanced tap in Safari Preferences. -- You received this message because you are subscr

Hi Tim. I found two plug-ins. I deleted one, and it didn't work but nothing drastic happened either. Then I found another one which says AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin Plug-in group (6 of 11) when VoiceOver lands on it. Oh, when I deleted the first one, I got what I said before, a pdf file up there

Hi, Take a look in the Library folder of your Macintosh HD volume. Look for Internet Plug-Ins. There should be two items related to Adobe Reader right near the top of the list. Try deleting the first plug-in and see what happens for you. Later... Tim Kilburn Fort McMurray, AB Canada On 20

Hi guys Someone may have addressed this somewhere, but I can't remember. If you're in a web site and you want to look at a pdf file, is there a way to tell Safari that you want to use Preview instead of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Somewhere along the way I got Adobe Reader on my Mac, and I guess I sh
