Let me try to expand on Chris' answer about differences between the
"Enter" key and the "Return" key. On older Mac laptops, such as my
PowerBook G4, there is a separate "Enter" key located along the bottom

The enter key on that keyboard is on the right side of the keyboard , above the
right shift-key.
It's a long key that's oriented vertically.
