OS X 10.10.3 is over 2 GB indeed, even for us who ran the beta.

Mac, iPhone or Apple TV.

I had the opposite experienced.
I had to try 4 times to download and install iO/s 8.3 on my iPad whilst the Mac
update has downloaded and installed fine.
I guess it is the luck of the draw as to when
