yes, I was attempting to afford having to use Finder 12 separate times
to locate and manually move all 12 songs. Thanks, though, as this is
probably how I'll end up doing it.; this way is pretty fast and
painless :)

There's probably a better way to do this, but you can move the songs
in your workout playlist to your MP3 player by using iTunes' "Show in
Finder shortcut" (Command-R), which will let you navigate to each item
in the songs outline for your playlist and issue a Command-R. This

I have a 12-song playlist in Itunes called "workout music." I have an
MP3 player with a USB connection to my Macbook, which shows up on my
desktop as a FAT32 volume. That's how old it is. :) I want to move
the playlist to the MP3 player. Problem is, the playlist itself is
not a folder
