It does disppoint me some to hear that people are having to format and
reinstall Lion. I figured Macs to be lots more stable than that. I
would have figured them to be more like linux systems where the OS
doesn't have to be reinstalled all the time like Windows.

Mail Wierdness. Robert Carter posted a link in his reply detailing
out how to configure Apple Mail and gmail to work beautifully with
organization of folders and deletion of messages. Take a look there.

ok, any ideas why mail can't move deleted items to the trash? and, what can I
do about this? It seems like mail requres me to actually open every dratted
message!
