Yes it is totally possible to do what you're asking. As mentioned below, you
would be creating a new MailBox instead of a folder but, essentially, they are
the same thing.
1. Stop Interacting With anything you may be Interacting With in the Mail

I understand exactly what you want. Although I have never done it, it is
called a smart mailbox. You first establish a rule that tells Mail which
messages go in what mailbox. Since I have never done this I will have to let
it go at this.

Ok, i've got two mailing lists with a lot of traffic that right now make my
main mailbox cluttered. I know that in outlook for windows you can say, create
a rule that says when you get an email from a certain email address, put the
