Hello all,
I took a quick look there to create a new rule and see that site
also got a remake. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

yes, as far as I am aware you can't have nested conditions. So you can't, for
instance, set an event to occur if condition one and either condition two or
condition three are present. This is a shame. You can apparently do this in
other places such as smart playlists where you apparently option
Before the criteria, you have a popup with any or all of the following rules
are met. Any would be or and all is the same as anding them.
I'm sure you've seen that. If you are wanting more complex Boolean
expressions, I don't think it does that.

Hello,
if I understand what you want correctly.
When you are creating or editing a filter as you tab through the fields you
will hear add criterion. Click on that and you can add another rule in that
field.
Hope that is what you need.
Max.

Hi all,
I'm setting up several rules to filter mail. I'd like to filter mail from more
than one list into a folder. How do I indicate connectors for multiple
conditions such as and, or etc?
Thanks,

Tim,
Thanks very much. I will give this a try by first deleting the current
mailbox, so that I can relocate it; I'm not sure how to go about just moving it.
Take care,

Hi Harry,
First, the All Mail thing from GMail is just there, it's something from Google
and, as far as I can tell, you can't do anything about it. So, I just ignore
its existence.
Now, for your other issue, if the GMail Mailbox/InBox is selected when you
create a new mailbox, the folder will
Hi, guys,
I have set a rule for the Mac Visionaries group, but it doesn't seem to work
the greatest. I set the rule to have messages sent to
macvisionaries@googlegroups.com be moved to the Mac Visionaries folder, and it
put that folder in my Google mail list for some reason. The issue is that
I have had Snow Leopard ask me if I want to apply rules to the currently active
folder. If you say yes then it will do this.
After creating the rule there is also a menu around I think in the messages
contextual menu that allows you to apply rules.
Best wishes,
Jonathan

Hello every one,
I believe Paul helped me on this before. But I made a rule on mail to send all
emails from macvisionaries@googlegroups.com to to be moved to my mac
visionaries box.But nothing happened. Should it have moved the ones I already
receive there too?
thanks,
Rachel
