yes. this was very helpful. everything is what I'm used to except that fn is
next to control on both sides. that's reallynot a problem. I just have to get
used to it.

My guess is that your mystery key is the Fn-key. Not sure if it will function
as an Fn-key when used on a Mac, but I'm sure you will be able to figure it out
eventually.
