If you are connected to wifi, and your friend has an iPhone, it will send as an
iMessage automatically. You can't determine it yourself.
So just connect to wifi and ensure you are sending to an iPhone and you'll b

As far as I know and iMessage is a text message. I have not seen a way to tell
the iPhone which one you want because in my case, it doesn't matter.
