Hi Mary,
Unfortunately, it's not that simple. We are not currently Prime members. so
our decision is between signing up for Prime--and getting the free TV--or
signing up for Hulu. If you get Hulu Premium, they cost about the same..
Cheers
Hi ‘Donna,
Well, I’m pretty sure Prime and Hulu offer free trials. So perhaps the best way
to go is to sign up for both and see who’s programming you might like the best.

with self voicing apps on the Amazon platform, Netflix for instance, is not a

and you only want one service, I’d go with a freebie.

Hi Donna,
What do you mean when you say you will be adding Amazon? The only Amazon thing
I am aware of is Amazon prime. There’s a lot of free stuff in there for prime
members, and there is a good bit of audio described stuff within that. Hulu has
just started having audio description. I think
Hi all,
We're thinking about adding a second streaming service--we currently just have
Netflix. We're debating between Amazon and Hulu. Just wondering if there are
any accessibility issues I should be aware of. We'll be watching on a 4th Gen
Apple TV.
TIA,

Hulu now has something like four audio described shows. They just started doing
it. The best place to follow audio description things is on the American
Council of the blind sight for such things. At this time, Netflix has way more

I have Net flicks. There are both audio descriptions of movies and tv shows.
The current price for premium is under $20 per month. I have no personal
experience with Hooloo.

Up to now I did not consider getting or watching audio described
content. But now I wish to check this out for my Apple TV.
Could someone give me a recap of the two services, the good, the
bad, how much content is audio described, is one better than the other?
Are TV shows also audio des
Hi, Just hold off for now! The one I purchased was streaming plus and
it was $9.99. Every time I bring it up I can't log into hulu. I log
into hulu fine from safari. I've sent an email to the developer (there
is a link to do so in the help menu), and am waiting to hear back.

Hello,
I see them, however they are all paid and I didn’t want to buy one to find it
not accessible so I didn’t bother. Is there a name of one that you know is
accessible so I can search it by name?

Hi Yes, if you search for hulu on the mac app store there are 3 or 4
apps available there. As far as the hulu site the only thing I've done
is sign up I haven't tried playing anything from the website.

Hi,
I wasn’t aware there was a Hulu app for the mac? If it’s accessible, I will
have to try it out. I was mainly talking about for IOS.
It’s interesting that you said the website was accessible. In my experience,

Hi, I've been thinking of signing up for hulu's free trial. Just
wondering if anybody on the list has tried the hulu app found on the

out how accessible it is before buying!

I do not have Apple TV; someone got us Roku last year, which as far as I can
tell, is inaccessible, unless someone can tell me differently. My legally blind
husband can use it, but I cannot.
As far as on the iPhone, I find Hulu slightly more accessible than Netflix, but

Both are completely accessible. I think Hulu has newer content; however they
