We have a mini hooked to our tv at home for the family entertainment and such. The mini is set to never go to sleep and the wireless keyboard usually goes a couple months between batteries. Probably would go much longer but we give it the tired old batteries after they no longer operate the kid

Having your Mac sleep shouldn't affect your keyboard. These keyboards are meant to sleep on their own when not in use, regardless of the Mac's state. Besides, the keyboard has to be ready to send a signal to the Mac when you hit a key to wake up the Mac. On Apr 27, 2014, at 11:06 AM, regina alva

If I have the time set to 30 minutes and check both power nap and put to sleep when possible, after 30 minutes will Mini automatically go to the authentication pane and go to sleep? If I am doing something, watching Netflix or something, will the computer completely turn off at the point of 30 m

Hi. That is interesting as I adjusted my I Mac's sleeping schedule. You need to go to System preferences which you can do with VO M when in Finder to bring up the menus. Once you find Preferences after using VO down arrow, Vo space and right with VO once. Then interact with the table and type

Hello all again: I want to change my Mini back to going to sleep when not in use to save batteries on my bluetooth keyboard. I went to systems prefs and saw settings for time, and put to sleep when possible. Am I in the right place? What are the steps to change back so I will have to put my pass
