Once a evice is aware of the network and knows the password, it should still be
able to connect. My ipod touch, iphone and macbook connect without problems,
and I have my broadcast disabled.

Hi, yes, In the wireless network window, there's an item that says other
network or something like that. Select that, and enter the network name, choose
the security type and enter the password. Once this is done, the device should
connect automatically whenever wifi is turned on and you're in r
Thanks, it did work.

Yes, auto connect works just fine using this option.
I use a hidden SSID with 802.1X auth and it works fine.

Yes, use the other option and enter the SSID data by hand.

I unhid the SSID and connected to it. then hid the SSID thinking that
would work. Must you add the network manually in order for it to still
connect?

Just curious, will this allow the iPhone to auto connect? I mucked about with
hiding the SSID, but never could get any machines or iOS devices to auto
connect. I may of course have been doing something wrong. :)

Hi Chris,
Hmm, I'm unsure. My router and network are not hidden, but my network is
encrypted. I had to put in the password on the Macbook and iphone. Sometimes,
my Macbook will lose connection with the router and say Airport has no signal,
but this is rare. I don't know if I've helped I hope s
Hello,
When I show my SSID name my iPhone and iPod are able to connect to my
router. When I disable the SSID the i devices wont connect to the
network.
Any way to get this to work when the SSID is hidden?
