Hi,
There is a certain spot around the time when you get to choose the language. I
usually just listen for the DVD to quit making the constant reading sound then
press FN-cmd-f5. The DVD should start making reading noises again and VO
should start up. If VO is really quiet, try pressing VO-c
Let me rephrase the question. I am installing OS Mountain Lion from a
DVD and I need to know if there is a certain point at which I can turn
VoiceOVer on to talk me through the installation process or can I turn
it on once I am at the main installation screen?

IF you mean getting Voice Over to read DVD menus, totally forget it. Why?
It's got to do with the way in which stuff is coded on to the disk.

I was wondering can I get Voiceover to talk right off the DVD with
Command FN f5 or Command F5? At what point shou.ld I turn Voiceover on
when using the DVD?
