Hi, Alex and all,

I've noticed that VO has started saying "Empty table" when I've read a message
and closed it again. I'm running the latest version of ML and I have Mail set
to Classic View without the preview pane. I also have conversations turned off.
I also have verbosity set to Lo
Oh, you're right, sorry about that.

VO-command-T goes to the next table.

Either vo-shift-t to go to the previous table, which should be your mailboxes
table, or use command with the first few numbers to jump to your favorites. for
instance, cmd-1 to go to the inbox. You can set these favorites if you don't
like the defaults, though I have never done this so could not
Hello listers,
Sometimes, when I open my mail application, voiceover says, "emty table."
How can I get away from it and go to mail box table?
Thank you for any help.

No I am using imap. I created the folders on the imap server and have mail
rules sorting them. Works really good.

HI,
I've also seen this problem. I assumed that it was just a latency problem
between the client and the server.

they will be sorted in the web view also. It almost sounds like you're using
pop if you have rules on your local machine separating out the mail?

they are regular inboxes and I made rules for them that mail applies at start

I understand and I have not seen it happen to often, but when it does, it makes
one nuts. I have not seen this much lately and I'm trying to recall what I did
to resolve the problem or at least something I did must have helped. If I can
recall, I will let you know.

I have seen this and I am not sure of a solution. I speculate it is an issue
with the imap connection and I may be wrong, but if imap, you are seeing this
with Gmail then.

for the messages to show up
any help would be welcome.
