Several weeks ago, my Macbook crashed and wouldn't recover. When I tried to boot, I didn't get the "bong," successful power-up noise, but instead for three beeps repeatedly. After replacing the hard drive and installing 10.6.3 from the D D, I am still experiencing the problem intermittently.
