Could someone please remind me how to change the setting so mail will be

Hi all,
recently I asked how to delete mail from the server. I did get the
answer how to do this but I have accidentally deleted the message.
So if somebody would be kind enough to repeat this I would really
appreciate it.
I can't see a link to the archives, so can't try & find it there.

If your account is a pop account, then go into Mail Prefs under the Accounts
pane then select the Advanced tab. You can check the box accordingly and set
when they should be deleted from the server, ie Immediately, after a week or a

I have set up a couple of mail accounts. They appear to be working ok
except they are not deleting mail from the server.
I have been through the help but can't find anything about deleting mail
