Go line by line using shift+down arrow and then, when you've got your text
selected, press cmd+c. In other words, the command key plus the c key together.

I’m not sure what you mean here. You copy text like you would in any text
field or document.
Open the message, and use the arrow keys + shift to select the text. Adding
the option key will select word by word, etc. When finish selecting, press
command C to copy.
