Thanks for the clearification! The name Jawbone is a little bit misleading.

Hello Chris.
I live in the UK and I praise Aftershokz Customer Service. When my blues 2
was broken, I sent them back after calling them and in a matter of days got a
replacement. This was before the Bluez Sports S came on to the market.

Yes, the edge is still the best headset in my opinion. It amazes me how
long both headsets have been out with no replacement.

I'm about to try the Trekz, which are made of a titanium alloy and sport
bluetooth 4.1. I'll be reviewing them for AppleVis, but I'm hoping they prove
more durable and comfortable than the Bluez 2. They are $129, and the Bluez 2
(which now offer the sound leak fix) are $99. If you have questions

The problem I have with the Aftershokz stuff is that first it leaks like a
sieve, and secondly they aren’t very loud. They’re good for the TTS if you
turn the volume up, but a lot of recordings at normal levels just won’t go that
loud even if you’ve used iTunes to bump up the playback volume.
well i would rather not be the test pilot for them it seems everyone has
aftershokz as their first choice. what kind of money am i looking at for a
pair. my brother is going to check for me later. thanks max

I stick with the Aftershokz Bluez sports, the latest headphones in that range.
I can’t wear bluetooth ear pieces as my ears are too small so for me right now,
these aftershokz are ideal due to my ears being so small. Light weight and
comfortable to wear all day and improved in the weather.
Th
I’ve heard less than positive things about them so have stayed away from them.
Also they don’t sound like they would be particularly high fidelity to me but
that could be just me being picky.

A jawbone might not be a bad option because it doesn’t obscure your
environmental sounds that badly and it’s got a pretty focused audio
distribution pattern so you can jack up the audio and still get outside sounds
mixed in if you’re good at multitasking audio. Might not work but just a

Max, your brother is misinformed. Bluetooth is a series of specifications that
are standardized so aside some special features in general most things work
pretty well with each other. There are headsets in general though that work
better than others. This is one of the favorite topics of mine
thanks sherry; I'm almost as excited for my brother to try them as i am for me.
i mean if it would allow him to hear so much better maybe we could get a
microphone he could hear on his headphones. thanks max

Right, OK, so what’s the better of the Aftershokz headsets, then? If not the
Bluez 2 then what?

I’ve just bought myself an Aftershokz Bluez 2S headset and wonder if i’ve made

makes me wonder what i’ve done.

Bone induction is the process of transferring sound to the audio processing
portion of your brain through as a bone in your face rather than through your
eardrums. It works extremely well; I have a severe hearing loss in my right
here and yet when I use bone in duction your phones I hear perfect
best single ear pease is the edge by Plantronics. But it
sounds like t you want both ears covered.

I got the Titanium Trekz today. The sound leak is very much diminished, and
sounds to my ears like what you'd expect of any headphones. They're very much
lighter and more comfortable, too, and seem (initially) to be much more
resilient. Of course, they aren't Bose or Senheisser, so don't expect
thanks will have to tell my brother patrick about that. i heard a few years ago
that sony was going to come out with an walkman for swimmers using this idea.
didn't know it worked and that people are using it in headphones. thanks max
