Have you tried using the VoiceOver hotspots for this.
I haven't tried this in zoom but when I have pesky "jumping in and out"
behavior in Avid's pro tools I found that VO hotspots are your friend. :)

What I tend to do is open up the chat panel and navigate to the messages and
then interact with the list and you should be able to arrow key up and down and
read them - sometimes it jumps but normally it works - the key is making sure
you have opened the chat panel as the default is that it is s

Hi all,
I really do prefer using zoom on my Mac with 2 exceptions.
The screen share which I spoke about last time.
The other issue that I’d love see work is reviewing the chat messages
especially if someone shares a file with me.
Any suggestions?
