Hi,
The Application Chooser usually works in this situation but you'll notice that
after it says that Disk Utility is open in the background, you'll need to wait
at least 10 seconds for the Disk Utility to open.

Hi. Thanks for the suggestions everybody. I got it working in the
end... I had to go a couple of screens forward and then I was able to
get to disk utility via the application chooser.
