You can have both flavors in your library other than taking up a pile of space. I have an iPhone, not an iPod, but I assume they handle the same stuff. I generally encode to MP3 instead of AAC since that is more portable outside the Apple ecosphere. You can pick a set of files and then choose

Hi everybody. With the release of Ipod touch, I now have to face the issue of converting my itunes library to something that is handled nicely on the Ipod. My itunes Library files are uncompressed Aiff files, and I will have to convert that into e.g. Aac compressed audio that plays on the ipod
