I was trying to find something like this for the NFL but they have
locked everything into DirecTV or the regular broadcast TV networks so
there was no (legal) online option to be found for any amount of money,
unless you lived outside the USA. Didn't know if the NBA did something

Probably because it is doubtful that the NBA has sold broadcast rights
to anyone other than ABC or ESPN and caught up with whomever was doing it.
