Did you try the built in video converter from Apple? Just open the context
menue und start converting.
I use a german Mac OS and so I can't tell you the correct titles in the context
menue in your language.

I have several video files that have the ".mkv" extension.
I found a program on the Internet, but it places a watermark on the video.
Any suggestions people have would be great - hope all are having a safe holiday
